Bharatiya Basha Parishad Award for Creativity

Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, a Kolkata based literary organization was founded in 1975 with the aim of promoting Indian languages. It honours Indian writers for their contribution to Indian literature through their respective languages I was honoured with the award for wholesomeness in creativity (Kartitwa Samagra Puraskar of the year 2017) in a colourful function at Kolkatta. I received the award from the hands of Mr Keshari Nath Tirupathi, then Governor of West Bengal

The award consists of a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh, a memento, a citation and a shawl
