Jana Gana MaNa by Malan
The story speaks about the Gandhi’s murder. It
throws some light on the minds and thoughts of
the murderer Godsey and his accomplices, what made them to murder a mahathma. The style
is profoundly simple yet builds the tension.
Hints to Gandhian principles are found here and
there that make the readers to think. Author’s
concern of making the young people born after Gandhi’s
period to understand his importance and his principles are transparent in this story. How the
carelessness of the police and army became
an advantage to the killer – has been well explained.
Overall, a Thought provoking novel.
